Why should I fit an EP Bar End Mirror and Brake Protector Kit to my KTM?
The ends of the handlebars are an ideal spot for additional or replacement mirrors as the wider position provides optimum rearward visibility with fewer reflections of the motorcyclist’s shoulders or elbows. What’s more, EP Bar End Mirrors / Brake Protector for the KTM 1290 Super Duke R adds the highly useful safety feature of an EP Lever Protector which guards against accidental application of the brake. Such lever protection is now a commonplace requirement for track days within the UK. Evotech Performance’s imaginative modular design combines the two parts into one easy installation, quickly attached using the model-specific mounting mechanism.
Note: When fitting EP Bar End Mirrors / Brake Protector, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycle’s throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Bar End Mirrors are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
